A celebratory exhibition during 3daysofdesign at Café Sommersko in Copenhagen, Denmmark co-curated by Tableau and Liv Vaisburg and in collaboration with Sovino Brands.
CUPS is a curated exhibition and sales project celebrating the intimate ritual of coffee, craftsmanship, and collectibility through contemporary art and design. Installed outside Café Sommersko, the project transforms a custom-built coffee truck into an exhibition space, where visitors are invited to experience and purchase unique artist-designed coffee cups.
CUPS celebrates not only the object, but also the social rituals and cultural spaces that surround it — conversations over coffee, fleeting encounters, shared moments, and the artistic communitues that continue to shape Copenhagen.
Drip cup was launched at CUPS. A cup collaboration designed and made by Marcela Trejo and Yeonni Park. It follows the silhouette of a traditional cup in a non traditional form. The cup’s body and handle connect as a single solid piece with a slight, almost seamless opening. Round, chunky and puffy forms provide a tangible experience that is soft and gentle for the hands, lips, and eyes. Drip is made and glazed by Yeonni’s hand. Mostly brush-on glazing, sometimes dip and sometimes splash, Drip is glazed in a luminous pink finish with layers of milky soft pink drips throughout, a simple gesture of joy in the everyday.
