peel vase 

Peel Vase is a collaborative object exploration by Marcela Trejo and Alyssa Lewis. Peel Vase 01 is the first vase of the Peel Vase Series. The Peel Vase Series is conceptually connected to the structure of a flower’s stem and the peeling away of its skin layer by layer, while formally it frames and embraces the flora held within. The vase and peels are made of raw aluminum transformed by a unique handmade process that creates tactile warmth and unexpected texture.
